Scott Sandstrom’s Biography, LMT, CPT, and Life coach

Scott received his B.A. in Kinesiology from Occidental College in Los Angeles.
As a collegiate football player, he spent many hours in the gym and began
designing the strength training programs for his college team. Looking to
combine his personal training skills with greater understanding of the body,
Scott attended Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, CO. At
BMCT, Scott has massaged for over 20 years, starting at the age of 16. Scott
has practiced meditation in the Zen tradition for over 15 years and has
studied Tai Chi for several years which has rounded out his skills in balancing
physical and mental strength from east to west, bringing exercise to a deep
level of concentration and mindfulness. As a personal trainer, Scott
emphasizes functional training and strives to train his clients to function at
their optimal levels by increasing strength, coordination, and balance. Over
the years, Scott has returned to his roots as the captain of his sports teams
and began coaching clients in and out of the gym, of encouraging them to
make life goals that encompass the whole person, strategizing ways to affect
daily life towards optimal physical health and the mental health, improving
overall quality of life.
